The Prodigal is book number four in the Abram's Daughters Series by Beverly Lewis. This book wraps up a lot of questions conjured in the first three books; Sadie's baby, Leah and Jonas, and much more. The Sacrifice begins in 1940, a couple of years after the last book. As the family is dealing with the shunning of one of the daughters, Leah is mourning her loss. Leah begins to move on in life with Smithy Gid and a tragedy forces her to make tough decisions.
The Betrayal, by Beverly Lewis, continues the saga of Abram's Daughters. This book seems to be more focused on Sadie and Leah, as they are coming upon the time to make their kneeling vow to the church and the community.
The Covenant is a story of two coming of age sisters set among the Amish community. The author lends a unique glimpse into the minds of these two daughters as they are approaching the age to make their decision to unite with the church and do away with the outside world.
