The Celebrity is a charming book that captures you and makes you yearn for more. I loved the characters; from the quirky heroine to the incognito celebrity the reader longs to understand what has shaped each of these unique individuals. I found myself rooting for this famous singer who finds himself in a small town after his mother's death. Not wanting the hassle with the media, he disguises himself and finds the peacefulness quite unusual for him and decides to hang around for a while. I almost wanted him to remain in his alter-ego state and not ever have to return to his well-known life, but you'll have to wait until the end to find out what happens. I won't ruin this one for you. It is well worth the late nights to discover the ending for yourself. This book will be high on my recommendation list, as it should be on yours.
