The Yada Yada Prayer Group is a book for women. Jodi Baxter signs up for the Chicago Women's Conference on the invitation of another church member. Feeling trepidation over the decision to attend this conference, Jodi suffers more anxiety when her registration packet has a number on it. Turns out this number is for a prayer group during the conference. The extremely diverse group struggles to connect. Yet, a near tragedy at the end of the conference strengthens the new bonds of this group. Over the next few months the group continues to meet and the characters develop amazing friendships sealed with prayer. I found the first part of the book dear to my heart as I had just signed up for a large conference where I only knew a handful of women going. I began thinking, like Jodi, what have I gotten myself into? Maybe I shouldn't go. Yet, I know that the Lord has bigger plans for me, maybe I'll find my own Yada Yada Prayer Group.
