In Rejoice, Brooke and Peter's marriage is shaky, then another blow. They face the possibility of losing their three year old child to a drowning accident and one of them is responsible. Brooke finds joy in each new accomplishment of her daughter, while Peter spirals in to depression and an addiction. As each parent deals with this tragedy differently, the Baxter family continues on. We get to read about Luke's wedding, with the most touching poem written by his mother. We see more about Ashley and Landon and their struggle at a relationship. And we witness how a large family pulls together once again to help each other. I loved this book and cannot wait for the final book in this series.
