Glorious Appearing, the 12th and final book of the Left Behind Series tells the story of Jesus return to earth. What I found different about this book over the others is its overwhelming content of Scripture.
Glorious Appearing, the 12th and final book of the Left Behind Series tells the story of Jesus return to earth. What I found different about this book over the others is its overwhelming content of Scripture. Where the other books told a fictional story of the characters the readers had come to know this book shies away from that. Although I will agree that this is a story worthy of sharing with anyone, after reading all eleven other books, I expected more from this one. This book took me longer to read, whereas with the other books of this series, I found myself staying up late at night because I had to finish another chapter and finishing the book within days of picking it up. Glorious Appearing did not have the draw for me. I could not get as engrossed in it and found not real desire to finish it quickly. I would still recommend it to those who have read the other books of the series.
