Fame is the first book in this new series by Karen Kingsbury. Although the series is new the characters are not. The Baxter family from the Redemption series is back. If you've read any of my reviews from that series, you'll know how much I fell in love with this family. When I finished the last book I was sad because I wanted to know what happened with them, where their lives went to after that book was over. You can only imagine how excited I was to know that there was this series beginning. Although this first book focus is more about Dayne Matthews and Katy Hart, you still hear about all the Baxter's and find out where life has taken them. I loved the theme of this book, being about following your dream even when you feel that God is not confirming that dream for you and the consequences that follow. I'm thrilled to know that the next book is out in a few short weeks.
