Rick Warren's book, The Purpose Driven Life, hits home with many people in today's society. Simply stating truths from scriptures, the author sets the reader out on a 40-day journey to understanding God's purpose for his life. Broken down into forty easy to read chapters, Rick hopes the readers will take each day to chew on what he has said. For many Christians, much of this information may not be new, but the way the author presents it may shed a different light on the content. For those that have no Christian background, Rick offers timely insight to what a person needs to find their purpose in life. Engrossed in the obvious scriptural truths, many I had heard before but some appeared new to me, I think the appeal of this book makes it a great evangelism tool. I found myself drawn to the book and had to restrain myself from reading more than one chapter a day.
