In Come Thirsty, Max Lucado demonstrates that as physical life is impossible without water so our spiritual life is inconceivable without the "living water" of Jesus Christ. Drawing from the scripture in John 7:37-38 "If anyone is thirsty let him come to me and drink, Whoever believes in me...streams of living water will flow from within him."

In Come Thirsty, Max Lucado demonstrates that as physical life is impossible without water so our spiritual life is inconceivable without the "living water" of Jesus Christ. Drawing from the scripture in John 7:37-38 "If anyone is thirsty let him come to me and drink, Whoever believes in me...streams of living water will flow from within him." Max Lucado takes us to the core of our relationship with God to examine and renew our relationship. I love this statement from the very first chapter. "Like water, Jesus goes where we can't. Throw a person against a wall, his body thuds and drops. Splash water against a wall, and the liquid conforms and spreads...Water goes where we cannot. " Taking us through four major elements, Jesus Work, His Energy, His Lordship and His Love, we explore how to fill our lives with His Living Water. I would encourage anyone who needs spiritual refreshment to read this book.
