In A Man of Faith, the reader is walked through all of George W. Bush's life from early childhood through the presidential race of 2000 and into his first term in office. We get a glimpse into how President Bush developed his faith, how devout he is to reading scripture and praying and how much his faith is involved in how he lead the country. Personally, I think this book is and excellent introspective into our leader's faith and beliefs. It is one thing for a man seeking office to claim he is a Christian but in the book you know without doubt that President George W. Bush lives out his Christianity while holding the most powerful job in the country. This book is more about his beliefs, his relationships with those influential to his faith, and his family. This is not a book about his political views. The few times politics are truly mentioned is when it relates to why a decision was made and how his faith played a roll in that. I think every Christian, regardless of your political affiliation will enjoy this look at a man's Christian journey through life.
